Vietnam’s maritime tourism industry is witnessing a revolution in the high-end resort segment, with a strong shift from traditional wooden ships to modern steel-hulled superyachts (metal cruises). This transformation not only meets strict international maritime safety standards but also satisfies the increasing demand of tourists for a classy living space right in the heart of world natural heritages such as Ha Long Bay and Lan Ha Bay. The typical representative of this wave of modernization is the Aqua of the Seas cruise ship, a strategic product of the Aqua Hospitality Group (AHG) officially launched and put into operation in February 2023. Positioned as an international 5-star cruise line, Aqua of the Seas quickly established its position as a luxury floating hotel, bringing a different and sophisticated service operating philosophy in the high-end tourism ecosystem in the Northern region.
The architecture of Aqua of the Seas is likened to an artistic symphony, where the modern and powerful beauty of Europe blends seamlessly with the classic, sophisticated features of Indochina style. This cultural interference is not only reflected in the aerodynamic lines of the exterior shell but also exists in every handcrafted interior detail and natural materials such as high-quality wood and stone, creating a luxurious resort space but still imbued with national identity. Technically, the yacht possesses impressive operating parameters to ensure stability and spacious space for visitors in all weather conditions. The ship has an overall length of 77.68 m and a hull width extending to 14.2 m. The architectural scale includes 4 functional floors scientifically distributed to optimize all experiences from accommodation to entertainment, with a maximum capacity of up to 100 adults, helping to flexibly meet needs from family vacations to large-scale corporate events. In particular, maritime safety is given top priority when Aqua of the Seas uses tempered steel materials to build the ship’s hull instead of traditional wooden ships. The use of steel not only helps the ship withstand the harsh saltwater environment but also allows architects to make the most of the tempered glass system running from ceiling to floor. This helps visitors feel completely secure in enjoying the beautiful panorama view of the heritage bay without being limited by traditional separating structures.
The accommodation system on the Aqua of the Seas cruise ship is designed according to the philosophy that each cabin is an isolated relaxation space, providing absolute privacy for guests.. With a total of 32 meticulously cared for rooms, the difference that makes this yacht classy is that all room categories have private balconies and bathtubs facing the sea.. The combination of natural wood furniture and a floor-to-ceiling glass door system not only creates luxurious beauty but also helps natural light always flood the room, opening up infinite views of the heritage bay.. On the first floor, the Junior Suite room is a sophisticated choice with the emphasis on the edge-to-edge glass system and the bathtub located right next to the window, allowing guests to relax in the water while admiring the million-year-old limestone mountains.. For families with children, the Junior Family room, also located on this floor, is the perfect solution thanks to its design combining a double bed and a single bed, ensuring a cozy common living space but still fully equipped.. Moving to higher spaces on the second and third floors, the Senior Suite room class offers a more airy experience with a spacious private balcony to enjoy tea and enjoy the sea breeze.. Meanwhile, the Triple Suite room class on the third floor is optimally designed for groups of three adults, meeting the need for a spacious and flexible accommodation space.. Also at this prime high-floor location, the King Suites and Queen Suites win the trust of guests who love luxury thanks to their central location with panoramic views of the majestic beauty of the city. The pinnacle of luxury on Aqua of the Seas is the President Suite room located on the second floor of the yacht. This is not simply a room but a mobile luxury apartment with separate living room and bedroom, providing a classy living space like 5-star resorts on the mainland.. The most valuable highlight of this room is the separate outdoor Jacuzzi right on the balcony, where guests can enjoy the feeling of absolute relaxation amidst the vast space of land, sky and sea..
The journey to discover wonders with Aqua of the Seas starts from Tuan Chau International Port at box 11, where visitors carry out professional check-in procedures before entering the heart of the heritage bay. This waterway is designed to take tourists away from overcrowded areas and deeper into the wild and peaceful space of Lan Ha Bay. The highlight stop on the journey is the Tra Bau area – a beautiful natural lagoon with clear water, the ideal place to begin your first experiences of exploring nature. Besides the beauty of the sea, tourists are also guided to visit Trung Trang Cave, a limestone masterpiece hidden in the heart of Cat Ba National Park with an extremely impressive system of million-year-old stalactites and stalagmites. Throughout the journey, experiential activities are arranged harmoniously to awaken all visitors’ senses. Those who love exercise can freely kayak or swim in the blue water of Lan Ha to fully enjoy the harmony between people and nature. When night falls, the cruise becomes a vibrant entertainment space with exciting night squid fishing activities, fun Karaoke sessions at the restaurant or challenging yourself with a traditional cooking class right on the deck. Early the next morning, a gentle Tai Chi session on the sundeck under the sunrise will help visitors regenerate energy and find balance in their souls. In particular, for travelers who choose the 3 Days 2 Nights intensive itinerary, the journey will expand to more remote and pristine lands. Visitors will have the opportunity to cycle through the romantic forest road to explore Viet Hai Village – a small ancient village deep in Cat Ba National Park. After hours of exploring local life, the day boat will take guests to the Ba Trai Dao area, famous for its beautiful natural beaches and clear blue water like jade, bringing a true and quiet resort experience amidst majestic nature.
Aqua of the Seas is not simply a means of transportation but is also considered a mobile resort in the heart of a heritage bay with a world-class utility system. The most prominent highlight in the main deck area is the modern outdoor swimming pool and public Jacuzzi, where guests can immerse themselves in cool water and enjoy panoramic views of the majestic Lan Ha Bay. After tiring hours of exploration, the Aqua Wellness Spa area with a team of professional technicians will offer massage and body treatments, helping visitors regenerate energy and absolutely relax in the sound of the murmuring ocean waves. To meet the health care and entertainment needs of all ages, the cruise ship has cleverly arranged a gym with modern machinery and equipment right in the basement area, helping guests maintain their exercise habits even while on vacation. Next to it is the Kid Club area – a safe and lively play space exclusively for young customers, bringing peace of mind and comfort to families. In particular, the Sundeck area on the top floor is the best space to admire the majestic beauty of nature. With a spacious area and unlimited views, this is the ideal place for visitors to sunbathe, read books, participate in morning Tai Chi sessions or simply sip a cocktail at the Sky Bar and watch the brilliant sunset fall over the heritage bay.
The culinary space on Aqua of the Seas is heavily invested with the luxurious Aqua restaurant located on the first floor, possessing an area of 180 square meters. $m^2$ and can accommodate up to 100 diners. With a surrounding glass system that allows for panoramic views of Lan Ha Bay, the restaurant brings a cozy and romantic atmosphere, where guests can enjoy exquisite meals while immersing themselves in the beauty of nature.. Besides, the Sky Bar area on the top floor and the bar at the restaurant are ideal places to enjoy unique cocktails, premium wines or participate in vibrant sunset parties.. The culinary experience here is a harmonious combination of traditional Vietnamese flavors and the quintessence of Western cuisine. The buffet lunch on the first day welcomes visitors with local specialties such as Van Don jellyfish salad and Ha Long seafood soup, while dinner is a premium set menu with sophisticated dishes such as steak with wine sauce or royal prawns.. In particular, Aqua of the Seas also demonstrates outstanding sophistication when serving specialized menus for customers with dietary needs, including the Vegetarian Indian menu with chickpea curry, Basmati rice and the Vegetarian Western menu with spaghetti with fresh cream sauce.. The culinary journey lasts until late at night and early the next morning with interesting activities. Visitors can experience the feeling of fishing for squid at night and enjoy the results right on the sea, or start the day with a light breakfast and end the journey with a rich brunch before landing.. Every detail from fresh ingredients to food presentation is meticulously cared for, affirming the position of a 5-star cruise ship that always takes customer satisfaction as its service principle..

3. General regulations and Procedures
Thanks to the Super-Yacht design with a reinforced metal hull and modern engineering technology, the ship has very high stability compared to traditional wooden ships. In particular, Lan Ha Bay is a closed water area with few large waves, helping ships operate smoothly even during periods of increased wind in transition seasons, minimizing the feeling of seasickness for tourists.
The yacht is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi system (about 25+ Mbps) and satellite TV in the rooms to serve personal entertainment and connection needs. However, due to the nature of moving between limestone mountains on the bay, the Wi-Fi signal can sometimes be unstable in some core areas of Lan Ha Bay.
According to general policy, drinks brought from outside on board will be charged a service fee because drinks are not included in the list of included services. For Flycams (Drones), tourists need to obtain a license from competent authorities before using them to ensure security in the bay area and not affect the privacy of other passengers.
Have. With a diverse menu system from seafood buffet to specialized menus such as Indian-style vegetarian or European-style vegetarian, the chef team has the flexibility to adjust dishes according to request. Guests should inform the cruise ship in advance of any food allergies (such as peanut, seafood, gluten allergies) immediately upon booking to receive the best service.
The Aqua of the Seas schedule operates year-round, however there are two main periods:
High season (October to April): The weather is cool and dry, very suitable for tourists who love tranquility and want to enjoy the pleasant atmosphere of autumn and winter.
Low season (May to September): Warm sunny weather, clear blue sea water, ideal for swimming, kayaking and viewing the bay under bright sunlight.
Tuyệt vời nào.
