Forget about dry numbers or lengthy technical specifications. Close your eyes and let your mind drift back to a sunset on the bay, where the sound of waves lapping the boat’s sides is as steady as the ocean’s breathing and the salty sea breeze gently caresses your skin. With a cool cocktail in hand, you find yourself standing between the boundary between the brilliant orange sky and the dark blue water of Lan Ha Bay. That is the moment when Doris Cruise begins to tell you the story of a journey that is not just about movement, but about a pure intersection of emotions.
Doris Cruise appears as a symbol of new luxury, choosing her own path among the pristine waters of Lan Ha Bay. Compared to the usual bustle of traditional Ha Long Bay, Lan Ha has a quieter, more arrogant and somewhat mysterious beauty. Doris’s choice of this journey is not simply a travel route, but a promise of absolute privacy for souls looking for true silence to regenerate energy. Here, the stillness is not silence, but the sound of nature soothing your mind.
Doris Cruise’s operating philosophy is an exciting symphony between the “cool head” of engineering and the “hot heart” of service. Behind the splendid appearance is the solidity of modern steel shipbuilding techniques from Nam Phat Group – where high-strength steel plates create an absolutely safe fortress in the middle of the sea. But when you step inside, that toughness completely gives way to the delicate art of hospitality. From the cozy wooden interior decoration to the understanding in every gesture of the staff, every detail is taken care of so that you feel like you are not a “passenger” on the train, but a precious friend enjoying a mobile home in the heart of wonders.
When mentioning Doris Cruise, people often think of a mobile architectural masterpiece, where rough steel blocks of heavy industry have been molded into an artistic entity by the talented hands of Nam Phat Ship Yard engineers. First launched in 2019 and having just undergone a comprehensive “transformation” to relaunch on May 25, 2024, this ship is the perfect combination of extensive operating experience and the most advanced technical standards . The peace of mind of tourists when floating in the ocean does not come from promises, but from the solid technical foundation of Nam Phat Group. With a hull cast entirely from high-strength steel that meets India’s BIS international certification, Doris Cruise possesses a solid “frame”, capable of withstanding the harsh corrosion of the seawater environment.
4-storey functional structure with sundeck system up to 350 meters wide m^2 not only ensures maritime stability but also creates an optimal operating space, where each technical parameter serves absolute safety and stability. Going deep inside, you will see how Doris’s design cleverly “fools” the eye. Despite the heavy steel shell, the interior space is filled with light and softness thanks to the maximum open architecture. Instead of tight walls, a system of panoramic glass windows is installed throughout the common areas and all 25 rooms, erasing the boundary between people and the natural wonders outside. Arranging 100% of cabins to have separate balconies is not only a luxury convenience, but an architectural intention so that every breath of the sea can penetrate into the bed.

Each cabin on the Doris cruise ship has a private balcony to help guests enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf of Wonders during their trip
And if you have to find a “crown” for this architectural work, it is definitely the four-season Jacuzzi area located right in the most prime location at the bow of the ship. This is not just an ordinary relaxation amenity, but the most expensive “Insta-worthy” highlight of the entire journey. With a delicate curving arc-shaped design, this hot tub allows visitors to soak in the warm water while enjoying a 360-degree view of the undulating limestone mountains of Lan Ha Bay. The combination of clear blue water, modern sundeck architecture and the majestic backdrop of the bay creates a perfect frame, where the rigidity of steel and the softness of water blend into one.

The infinity jacuzzi pool is designed at the bow of Doris Cruise
Cuisine on Doris Cruise is not simply a meal that provides energy, but is enhanced into a fascinating Fusion symphony, where local flavors blend with international quintessence. Fresh seafood ingredients are strictly selected from local fishing villages on Ha Long and Lan Ha Bay, ensuring the sweetness and typical flavor of the ocean. Under the skilled hands of a team of experienced chefs from 5-star hotels, these raw ingredients are transformed through sophisticated Western processing techniques, creating dishes that are both rich in regional identity and meet the strict standards of global diners.
The onboard culinary experience is designed to be a multi-sensory artistic journey. In the delicately designed restaurant space with shimmering lighting and luxurious interiors from reputable partners, every meal becomes a show of color and flavor. Panoramic glass windows surrounding the restaurant help blur the line between the cozy space inside and the majestic beauty of the limestone mountains outside. The combination of professional service style and natural scenery that changes with each passing hour creates a luxurious yet poetic atmosphere, helping visitors fully enjoy the value of high-class culinary culture.
The most memorable highlight in the series of taste experiences is the afternoon tea party taking place at sunset over the bay. When the sunlight gradually turns bright orange and sinks deep behind the mountains, the space on the sundeck becomes quiet and poetic. Guests can leisurely enjoy fragrant teas, cakes and fresh fruits in the comfort of the sea breeze. This is not just a light meal, but a precious psychological “silence” for people to slow down, observe the magical transition of time and find absolute relaxation before entering a formal dinner under the starfish.
The wellness journey on the cruise is designed as a comprehensive recovery therapy, where physical activities blend closely with the tranquility of nature to regenerate internal energy. In the Ba Trai Dao area, kayaking allows visitors to navigate their way through the majestic limestone mountains, feeling a direct connection to the characteristic emerald green water of Lan Ha Bay. The transition from open space to the quiet atmosphere of Light – Dark Cave by bamboo boat is not simply a sightseeing trip, but also an opportunity for the mind to get rid of urban noise and find a state of stillness in the heart of a magical natural cave.
Along with movement activities, the element of stillness plays a key role in balancing body – mind – mind. Tai Chi class takes place at dawn on the sundeck, bringing absolute relaxation through graceful movements in harmony with the deep breathing of the ocean. To complete the recovery process, professional Spa services on board provide delicate treatments. The combination of intensive massage techniques, natural essential oil scents and the sound of crashing waves creates a perfect treatment space, helping to awaken all senses and thoroughly relieve accumulated stress after stressful working days.

Experiencing tai chi exercises in the morning is one of the interesting activities on the Doris cruise
Cultural experiences at Viet Hai fishing village open up a new dimension, bringing visitors into touch with the simple and pure rhythm of local life. Cycling through the lush primeval forests or traveling by electric vehicle between winding village roads on Cat Ba island is an invaluable form of “forest bathing”, helping to purify the body and soul. Interaction with the lives of local people and the wild beauty of the mountain landscape create a complete wellness journey. This is a delicate touch point that helps visitors find a deep connection between themselves and nature and sustainable cultural values, leaving a positive aftertaste after the trip.

Although traveling among limestone mountains, Doris Cruise is equipped with a broadband satellite system (similar to Starlink) to ensure connectivity. However, in some core areas that are too deep, the signal may flicker. This is a great opportunity for guests to truly "disconnect" and enjoy nature.
All rooms and common areas use multi-purpose sockets (standard A & C, 220V voltage). You do not need to bring an adapter if using standard devices from Vietnam or internationally.
With a sturdy steel hull structure from Nam Phat Group and a low center of gravity, Doris Cruise is extremely stable, with almost no feeling of shaking when the ship is anchored or moving slowly on Lan Ha Bay, which is very windy. If you're extremely sensitive, the crew is always on hand with herbal sickness relievers and warm ginger tea.
Absolutely yes. In addition to the available Fusion menu, the kitchen team can prepare separate Halal or pure Vegan meals with at least 24 hours' notice. We understand and respect all of our guests' beliefs and lifestyle choices.
Sure. Doris Cruise regularly organizes "unique" events for businesses or private weddings. When renting a full package, the schedule and menu can be completely redesigned according to the organizer's requirements to ensure branding and absolute privacy.
Don't worry too much. The office at Tuan Chau wharf will assist in dispatching a speedboat (Tender) to take you to the main ship. However, note that this cost will be paid by guests themselves and charged according to the speedboat price list at that time.
To protect the Lan Ha Bay ecosystem according to standard 6, Doris Cruise encourages guests not to bring single-use plastic on board. We provide in-room glass water dispensers and free purified water refilling stations in common areas.
Daytime: Swimsuit, lightweight clothing, sneakers or sandals for kayaking and cave tours.
Evening: The restaurant applies "Smart Casual" style (elegant, comfortable). You can wear light dresses or shirts to take sparkling photos under the lights.
Guest safety is the highest priority. If the Bay Management Board does not grant permission to depart, we will assist guests in changing the departure date or refunding according to the force majeure policy. If a storm occurs while you are on board, the captain will move the ship to the safest licensed shelter area.
Tuyệt vời nào.
