Ha Long Bay has long been a symbol of spectacular natural beauty, and over the past two decades, the name L’amour has quietly made its mark as a symbol of absolute privacy. Starting in 2007 with the traditional wooden L’amour Junk line specializing in serving the ultra-private boutique segment, this brand officially made a bold leap in March 2025. The launch of the steel-hulled superyacht L’amour Cruise is not only an upgrade in materials or scale, but also an affirmation of a new era in the luxury resort industry in the heritage region. The name “L’amour” means love in French, but the ship’s soul is deeply rooted in the image of Hon Trong Mai – a symbol of fidelity and eternal connection among the waves of Ha Long. This philosophy is realized throughout every architectural feature of this 5-star Ha Long cruise, where Indochina cultural heritage is skillfully woven into the world’s most modern amenities. With the transformation from a classic wooden ship model to a modern steel-hulled architecture with 33 luxurious rooms, L’amour Cruise promises to bring a sophisticated and classy resort space. Here, each cruise is not simply a sightseeing trip, but an emotional journey, where visitors can find peace and fully connect with the values of national cultural heritage.
Affirming its position as one of the most modern superyachts on the bay, L’amour Cruise possesses impressive technical specifications with a length of 71m and a width of 14m. The solid steel shell structure according to international standards not only ensures smooth operation and stability against all weather fluctuations, but also opens up an extremely spacious living space, eliminating the feeling of confinement often found on traditional cruise ships. With a scale of 5 floors (Decks) with scientifically allocated functions, the yacht provides 33 luxury resort cabins, serving a maximum of 120 passengers. L’amour Cruise’s architectural style is a delicate intersection between the nostalgic and romantic features of the Indochine (Indochina) style and the modern amenities of a world-class floating hotel. Exquisite wood carvings, characteristic encaustic tiles or warm tones are harmoniously combined with large glass panels, creating a space that is both luxurious and imbued with cultural identity. In addition to aesthetic beauty, technical safety factors are invested in standards with an advanced navigation radar system and a modern automatic fire protection network. The combination of modern steel shipbuilding technology and design philosophy aimed at absolute peace of mind helps visitors completely immerse themselves in the journey of discovering natural wonders.
The yacht’s guest rooms are designed as separate artistic spaces, where luxury meets the absolute relaxation of the sea. Right from the Century Cabin room types, which are flexibly distributed on each floor, guests can enjoy the spacious sea view and Jacuzzi facilities or Himalayan salt rock sauna right in the room. This is a special highlight that brings a personalized healthcare experience right from the standard room category. Moving to the higher floors, Oriental Cabin opens up an inspiring living space with a Panorama sliding glass door system and a separate balcony. This design helps blur the line between the room and the blue bay, allowing guests to relax in the Jacuzzi while still being able to fully take in the majestic beauty of the heritage limestone islands. For those looking for more isolation and luxury, the Imperial Suite located at the strategic corner locations of the second and third floors is an option not to be missed. The highlight of this room class is the large balcony with integrated outdoor jacuzzi, creating an absolutely private relaxing space in the middle of nature, where guests can sip a glass of wine and watch the sunset fall on the peaceful sea. Even more classy is the Majestic Suite located on the front side of the second floor, possessing the most direct and comprehensive view of the entire forward cruise of the yacht. Not only does it stop at an outdoor jacuzzi on a private balcony, the room also has a separate Himalayan salt sauna inside, turning the accommodation space into a miniature health care center, helping to restore maximum energy for the owner. The pinnacle of the art of staying on a cruise ship is the Royal Palace Suite, considered a regal Penthouse apartment in the heart of wonders. Located on the top floor of the suite with a private terrace and outdoor hot tub, this suite offers the ultimate in perks with support from a team of private butlers available 24/7. This is where every individual request is met in the most sophisticated and meticulous way, completely redefining the concept of luxury at sea.
Choosing to stay in VIP room categories on L’amour Cruise is not simply about owning a luxurious accommodation space, but also about entering a world of specially designed privileges to please the most sophisticated guests. Right from the moment of check-in, guests will feel absolute respect through the fresh tropical fruit basket and a bottle of premium red wine prepared in the room. The emotional touch also comes from the personalized welcome letter from the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), bringing a familiar and warm feeling like returning to your second home. L’amour Cruise’s thoughtfulness starts right from the moment passengers depart from Hanoi. Depending on the VIP room class selected, visitors will be served by a modern Limousine system or a private two-way shuttle between Hanoi and Ha Long, ensuring privacy and comfort throughout the journey. When night falls, the professional room turndown service (Turndown service) will make the resting space more cozy than ever, accompanied by small, beautiful and delicate good night gifts as a sweet gratitude to guests. In particular, the Wellness experience is an indispensable part of the VIP privilege package to make the journey to discover heritage more complete. Guests will receive intensive Spa treatment packages lasting from 30 to 60 minutes depending on room type, focusing on relieving tension in the head, neck and shoulders. In the quiet space of the sea, these treatments not only help restore physical health but also soothe the soul, bringing a state of peak relaxation that is rarely found anywhere else.
L’amour Cruise’s utility system is meticulously calculated and scientifically distributed on the floors to optimize the visitor experience. In the basement area, visitors will find the quiet space of Lotus Spa & Sauna. This is a place that provides intensive health care treatments, helping to relieve all stress in a private space and completely separate from the bustle above. Also on this floor, the modern kitchen area is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, ensuring the highest food hygiene and safety standards to bring premium meals to passengers. Moving to the 1st floor (Main Deck), the culinary culture space begins to open with Hoa Lu restaurant. Boasting a traditional style with sophisticated decorative details, the restaurant serves rich breakfast and lunch buffets in a cozy, intimate atmosphere. The most impressive highlight on this floor is the 4 Season Swimming Pool with an area of 45m2 located at the stern area of the ship. With an open design overlooking the bay, visitors can immerse themselves in the water, enjoying endless relaxation while watching the limestone islands pass right before their eyes. Up to the 4th floor, Hoi An restaurant appears as a unique architectural highlight with a surrounding glass design creating a 360-degree panoramic view of the bay. This is a space reserved for premium Set Menu dinners, where shimmering lights blend with exquisite culinary flavors prepared by talented chefs. The panorama view from this position allows visitors to admire the magical and immense beauty of Ha Long Bay to the fullest, no matter where they sit. The Sundeck area on the rooftop is where the cruise’s most unique outdoor activities converge. Every early morning, this airy space becomes a peaceful Vovinam traditional martial arts training ground under the sunrise, helping visitors start a new day full of energy. When afternoon falls, Sundeck transforms into a vibrant Sunset Party area, an ideal place to enjoy a Canape tea party, sip signature cocktails and watch the sunset moment that dyes the whole heritage area golden. This is the perfect coordinates to relax and capture priceless memories amidst the sea and sky.
The journey to discover heritage with L’amour Cruise is meticulously designed to take visitors through the most beautiful core areas of the world’s natural wonders. With a 2-day-1-night schedule, the ship will lead you to Sung Sot Cave, the largest and most splendid cave in the heritage area with a magical stalactite system that is likened to a giant theater in the heart of the rocky island. Continuing the journey, swimming and climbing activities at Titov Island offer the opportunity to admire the panoramic view of the bay from above, before ending the first day with the experience of kayaking or sitting on a bamboo boat through Luon Cave – a unique natural rock arch leading to a quiet lake surrounded by steep cliffs. For travelers desiring a more profound and tranquil experience, the 3-day, 2-night itinerary offers an extended journey south to pristine Lan Ha Bay. On the second day of the cruise, tourists will be transferred to a transfer boat to explore the Bright Cave – Dark Cave area, which possesses a majestic space and is the most ideal location for kayaking activities. After hours of exercise, the peaceful space at Ba Trai Dao beach with clear blue water and natural white sand will be the perfect place to relax. The journey also incorporates local cultural values through a visit to the Pearl Center, where visitors learn firsthand about the elaborate traditional pearl farming process of coastal residents. Throughout the cruises, experiential activities are delicately integrated to awaken all senses of visitors. From the feeling of freedom when rowing a kayak to explore limestone niches to the relaxation of sitting on a traditional bamboo boat operated by indigenous people, every moment is a true connection with nature. The most romantic highlight of the day is the Canape afternoon tea party on the rooftop at sunset. Here, visitors can enjoy exquisite snacks, sip unique drinks and be amazed by the magical beauty as the sun gradually disappears behind the rocky mountains, leaving splendid pink-gold streaks of light on the peaceful bay.
The culinary experience on L’amour Cruise is a multi-sensory journey, where the freshest ingredients from the waters of Ha Long are prepared in the sophisticated style of 5-star chefs. Starting the day with a light breakfast of hot bowls of Tien Yen chicken pho or signature seafood noodles, visitors will gradually progress to a hearty buffet lunch at Hoa Lu restaurant. The lunch menu is a rich combination of Sushi, grilled seafood such as oven-baked sea bass with garlic and onion sauce and rich stews, helping to recharge energy after hours of visiting the magnificent cave. The most romantic highlight of the cruise is the premium Set Menu dinner served in the luxurious space of Hoi An restaurant. Under the cozy yellow light, guests will enjoy the cruise ship’s iconic dishes such as grilled lobster with Hoa Long cheese, “Thien Bao” grilled salmon or charcoal-grilled beef rolled with almonds. Each dish is not only an explosion of flavor but also a beautiful presentation, closing with traditional desserts such as Phu The Ngoc Lien cake with a strong Vietnamese flavor. L’amour Cruise’s sophistication also lies in its absolute respect for the unique needs of each diner. The cruise is proud to offer a menu specifically for vegetarians and especially a meticulously designed Indian Menu with signature dishes such as Masala chicken, Chapati cake or coconut shrimp curry. This ensures that regardless of taste or religion, every passenger finds satisfaction in every meal. On the last day of the cruise, brunch with the appearance of Hanoi bun cha or la Vong fish will bring an impressive and fulfilling end-of-trip greeting. Besides the food menu, the drink list at the bar is also carefully selected to enhance diners’ experience. From premium imported French wines such as Princesse Des Sables with ripe red fruit flavors, to uniquely created Signature Cocktails such as Jasmine Beauty or Ocean Bird, all are ready to serve visitors at sunset parties on the Sundeck or at dinner tables. The harmony between the spicy taste of wine and the sound of the waves of the bay will be the perfect piece for a classy vacation.
