The Sun Hill complex is situated on Dang Ba Hat Street, Ha Long City, and was officially inaugurated on December 24, 2022. Although having been in operation for a short time, the complex has quickly evolved into an enticing destination, captivating both international travelers and locals visiting Ha Long with its novel and unique leisure and entertainment experiences. Sun Hill is a multi-service complex featuring a café, restaurant, exquisite photo spots, event hosting (birthday parties, class reunions, etc.), and live music shows. Spanning a total area of nearly 3,000m2, it is built upon the existing grounds of Sun World Ha Long, exuding a refined Mediterranean aesthetic.

Sun Hill is designed with a completely open-air concept to embrace the gentle breeze, warm sunshine, and fresh breath of the ocean. From this vantage point, guests can admire panoramic views of the Ha Long International Cruise Port and the Bai Chay tourism complex ahead, alongside the tranquil pine hills featuring the iconic Ha Long Sun Wheel in the background. The ambiance reaches its most romantic and poetic peak at twilight, when the evening lights of the tourist hub cast a shimmering, magical glow. Sun Hill was constructed with an eco-conscious philosophy utilizing upcycled materials (reclaimed timber, salvaged ship wood, etc.), with an investment of approximately 800 million to 1 billion VND (self-designed and constructed).

On March 4th, Sun Hill welcomed renowned vocalists Lam Truong and Tieu Chau Nhu Quynh for the inaugural show of the “Melodies Among the Pines” concert series. The performance delighted music enthusiasts, allowing them to bask in the romantic sunset over Ha Long Bay—resembling a breathtaking natural masterpiece—while listening to sweet, soul-stirring ballads. Furthermore, the “Melodies Among the Pines” music series regularly features appearances by other celebrated singers, talented DJs, and accomplished rappers.

Sun Hill is a passionate project conceived and brought to life by Mr. Pham Quang Long, co-founder and manager of the complex, driven by the desire to offer residents and visitors to Ha Long a distinctive and peerless entertainment venue. In particular, the live music stage hosted at Sun Hill represents a continuation and elevation of contemporary music tourism products in Ha Long. We currently host the “Melodies Among the Pines” concert series regularly, staging 1 to 2 shows per month featuring prominent young guest artists. These musical showcases are rotated across three distinct stages: Sun Hill in the afternoon for sunset viewing, alongside two evening stages located at the Ha Long International Cruise Port and aboard a 5-star luxury cruise on Ha Long Bay.
With a fresh, creative, and impressive approach combined with meticulous event planning, the “Melodies Among the Pines” musical showcases—hosted at Sun Hill and other picturesque locations across Ha Long—are steadily establishing a new trend. They enrich the cultural and spiritual landscape, earning the adoration of music lovers and travelers visiting Ha Long alike. Ultimately, this initiative contributes to positioning Ha Long as an enticing four-season destination, enriched by diverse and vibrant tourism experiences.
