According to local folklore passed down by the elders of Bang Ca, a winding river once flowed through the communes of Quang La and Bang Ca. Because its banks were lined with numerous guard posts in the past, locals referred to it as Don River (River of Outposts). This region boasts poetic and picturesque scenery where mountains and rivers harmonize gracefully. Legend has it that two deities once visited, becoming so engrossed in the beauty of Don River that they accidentally wet their garments and had to dry them by laying a pole across the high hills of the Yen Lap range.

However, the mountain range on the Bang Ca side was too low, forcing the deities to stack numerous stone slabs on top of each other to elevate both peaks to an equal height, forming a makeshift drying beam. Thus, the majestic and seemingly precarious yet remarkably sturdy Da Chong Mountain was born.

Featuring a strikingly unique formation of dozens of natural stone slabs of varying sizes perched perilously amidst the mountainous wilderness at an altitude of 400 meters, Da Chong Mountain is the ultimate challenge for seasoned adventurers. If you are an avid thrill-seeker looking to test your physical limits along rugged trails, this is a destination not to be missed. Standing atop the summit, you can gaze out over the stunning panorama of Yen Lap Lake, vast pine forests, and immerse yourself in the boundless sky and clouds, leaving all stress and fatigue far behind…
